The quality of the raw materials is accurately controlled from the same Papalino, that take care of the production process from the beginning to the end.
SENAURO
Ancient name for the red vermilion that was extracted in the Middle Ages by laborious processes.
Sangiovese 100% garnet red in color, the nose reveals notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
Balsamic, spicy notes in the mouth, with slightly taut tannins. Excellent with main courses of roasted or barbecued meats.

SOLIDAGO
Typical shade of yellow, as well as a medicinal plant that grows wild in Latium. A 100% violet, it accompanies its typical violet hues with hints of balsamicity and dark fruit. Sip governed by a pleasant skeleton that also extends over a fairly long finish. Ideal with medium-aged cheeses and meaty first courses.

CALUS
From Etruscan, “good.” Sangiovese and Montepulciano for a full-flavored red wine. Deep red, medium-bodied, it is characterized by hints of berries and cloves. Its versatility allows it to accompany aperitifs and light meals well.

AMÈTIS
Diminutive of “amethyst,” a stone that has always been linked to wine and was widespread in Roman times.
100% Grechetto harvested between early August and late September. Its golden hues accompany hints of ripe banana and licorice generating a savory taste with full structure. Ideal for savory first courses, roasted fish and medium-aged cheeses.

LAZULUM
Latin name for lazurite of which one of the most important deposits resides in the Alban Hills.
When the distinct aromaticity of Malvasia meets the lightness of Procanico the result is a fresh, pleasant white wine with a pleasant drinkability. Brilliant straw color is characterized by mineral hints that give way to white-fleshed fruit. Excellent with fresh, creamy cheeses.

From the Etruscan, “good.” Grechetto and Malvasia for moments full of pleasure. Hints of elderberry and pear flank straw hues in the drinking of a medium-bodied white wine. Its versatility allows it to accompany aperitifs and light meals well.
