WHY AMÈTIS?
Named after “ametista”, a stone strongly bonded to wine since ever.
The myth tells about Ametista (nymph of the woods), to escape from the unwanted courtship of Bacco (God of wine), she turned to Atemide (Goddess of virginity and feminine initiations) that transformed her into a clear chrystal.
Bacco, in anger, poured on it its cup full of wine giving it its violet color, along with the power to protect from the intoxicant effects of wine.
Tasting Notes:
Sparkly yellow straw.
Intense smell that reveals floreal and fruity hints with elegant mineral and chalky notes who tempt the sip, of pleasant correspondence and progression.
Long savory persistence with memories of almond and citrus.
Winemaking in steel and stopover for 4 months on yeasts.
Grechetto.
